
Travon “Tony” Pierre is a south Florida native and Puerto Rican-Haitian American. He has a background in community organizing and the performing arts. He previously worked with the Miami Children's Museum Theatre Troupe and was awarded Outstanding Contributions to Children’s Theatre by the South Florida Theatre League. Travon has created original productions partnering with organizations such as Disney and the Mister Roger’s Foundation.
Travon has experience in field and political organizing, having worked on many elections in south Florida. He has organized presidential campaigns, as well as municipal and local elections. He has previously served as the External Affairs coordinator for Mayor Daniella Levine Cava in her Equity and Engagement Division focusing on youth and young adult civic engagement, liaised for the LGBTQ+ community, and executing special projects.
He has a passion for youth civic engagement and expanding arts access for youth. Travon’s journey in the arts and civic service has provided him with many opportunities to advance and enhance his skills.
